Today I am sitting in the crowded but no less clean Denver International Airport. This morning at 3:17 AM, I woke up. I quickly rubbed my red eyes after only sleeping 5-ish hours and headed to the shower. Afterward, I dressed, rand resumed the rest of my hygienic practices. Our flight opened for boarding at 5:30, and we could NOT be late. Or could we?
I hopped in the car and we zoomed to the airport, went through security, got on the tram, waited for gates A and B to pass so we could get into C, hurried up the escalator, and ran for our plane. It was now 5:51 AM and the doors to the cool tunnel thingy that gets you on the plane was closed. We were too late. Luckily, there was another flight…at 10:05. So that’s what I’m doing now. Sitting quietly and drinking the best Einstein Bros Oregon Chai Tea Latte I’ve ever had. Observe:
Ahhhhh….
Waiting for a plane never felt this ok. Until we meet again, dear readers! BTW, I would write more, but I’m using the WordPress app on my teeny weeny smart phone. 😛
So long,
Emily 🙂
