Classical music is something you all know by now that I just love.
I have been playing piano for twelve years now (since I was six), and each year I fall more and more in love with the myriad of classical composers, challenging pieces, and compositions written by 200-500-year-old dead men.
It’s a very nerdy hobby.
And for this week’s post, I’m presenting a video discussion/nerd attack brought to you by yours truly and a good friend I’ve mentioned on the blog before, Ioan.
Ioan and I both play the piano, and our love for classical music is kind of insane.
Here’s the video for you all to enjoy (it’s got a total runtime of 33 min 49 sec):
Also, before I sign off, I’d love to help you friends get yourselves into classical music! If you’ve never listened before and aren’t really sure which composers to start with or even how to find them, please be sure to check out TwoSet Violin’s video on just that below!
TwoSet Violin is one of my favorite YouTube channels, and I am a regular LingLing wannabe, trying to practice my 40 hours a day. 😉 which never actually happens.
Besides, if you don’t end up getting into classical music, watch it anyway, because Brett and Eddy will make your souls happy.
Also, if you haven’t yet, a great way to get into classical music is to check out The Piano Guys, who are some of the most amazing classical artists of the century. They creatively weave classical music and modern pop together to create original covers/masterpieces, and their YouTube videos are breathtaking.
And their concerts are some of the best in the world. I speak from experience
*cough*
In conclusion, If you’re already neck-deep into the world of classical music, let me know in the comments! I’d dearly love to see what tastes and loves you all have for this mostly unpopular music style.
But let’s be real: it is really *posh* to talk about.
I hope you all really enjoy this, and please do head on over to my budding YouTube channel (that seriously needs some ramifications) and subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks for your readership and support! You mean so much to me, and I love every single one of you.
Bis später,
Emily 😎
