I’m Emily: seventeen-year-old uni student, daughter, sister, writer, bookworm, aspiring theologian, and lover of Jesus. I graduated homeschool with honors – class of 2018. I strive to be the person that loves unconditionally, brings a smile to the faces of others, and just has something oddly different about her – in a good way. And that’s how I like it. 😉

I love to seek out the beauty of Christ in literature, art, music, and tea. When people ask who my friends are, I can proudly say I have strong ties with Jane Eyre, Sherlock Holmes, Tom Sawyer, Prince Hal, Augustine, Emma Woodhouse, Sydney Carton, Frodo Baggins, and Harry Potter.

One of my many aspirations since the age of twelve has been to live in expectancy at Longbourne for my Mr. Darcy to make his entrance.

I pour constantly over my Bible, theology, Jane Austen, the Brontë Sisters, C.S. Lewis, Shakespeare, and Tolkien’s Middle Earth Sagas. I dream of traveling to Great Britain and studying abroad. Besides Jesus, earl grey is salvation.

This blog is a compilation of all the thoughts and ideas floating around in my never ending Mind Palace. I hope you’re inspired by the many sublime and wondrous truths I learn as I become a young lady learning what my King has for me.

Auf Wiedersehen, and enjoy 🙂
